Stephen Payne is curator of aeronautical technology at the Canada Aviation Museum, primarily involved with the development of Canada's national aeronautical collection. He has worked on the restoration and conservation of a numver of the museum's aircraft and is the author of a history of the museum's Rockcliffe Airport site. He lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
