Carol Renison

Carol Renison was born in Toronto and is a graduate of Trinity College. She traveled extensively in Europe and the Far East, and has spent the last eight years on the West Coast, where she has sailed and experiences first-hand the demands of the sea--everything from laying a deck and cleaning fish to riding out a hurricane.

Considerable research and editorial work have brought her to a number of assignments as co-author, and her excellent collaboration with Gordon Gibson grew out of many tape recordings, not only with the subject himself, but also his two surviving brothers, family and friends.
