Butter Chicken Schnitzel: A Special Fundraiser for Growing Chefs!

Meeru Dhalwala, co-owner of Vijís and Rangoli restaurants and co-author of Vijís at Home, will share some of her cooking techniques, recipes (meats and vegetarian) and ideas on how to feed your family healthy and delicious Indian meals on a limited budget.

Inspiration for Butter Chicken Schnitzel comes from a common family challengeóthe desire for healthy meals vs. the desire to eat pizza, pasta and chicken nuggets. This issue is not just about the children who need to eat healthy; itís also about the adults who find cooking a chore and therefore opt for take-outs or processed foods.

Meeru will answer your questions, showcase her familyís butter chicken schnitzel recipe and organic chickpea curry, and talk about her 15 years of experience with food and cooking.

Join Meeru on Friday, November 19 at 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The cost is $60 per person and includes a copy of Vijís at Home: Relax Honey, The Warmth and Ease of Indian Cooking as well as tasting samples and wine. The proceeds will be donated to Growing Chefs.
