The Man Who Killed selected as a finalist for the Amazon.ca First Novel Award

Douglas & McIntyre is delighted to announce that Fraser Nixon’s The Man Who Killed has been selected as a finalist for the 36th annual Amazon.ca First Novel Award, an award that has launched the careers of some of Canada’s most beloved novelists.

Stuart Woods, editor of “Quill & Quire,” selected the short list and Douglas Gibson, Nathan Whitlock and Kelly Duffin are serving as judges on this year’s panel.

The winner will be announced at the annual First Novel Award event on April 26th in Toronto. The winner will receive $7,500, and all finalists will receive a $750 gift certificate redeemable at www.amazon.ca.
