Greystone Books has been publishing textual and illustrated books of the highest quality since 1993. Under the guidance of Rob Sanders, the company has become a leading publisher of books about nature and the environment, travel books, guidebooks, and books about sports, popular culture, and current issues. In 2012, Trena White became Publisher of both Douglas & McIntyre and Greystone Books imprints, with Nancy Flight as Associate Publisher. Rob Sanders remains active as Senior VP New Business Development/International, Publisher-at-Large.

Greystone publishes about thirty new books a year, with an emphasis on international sales. Nearly half of the books originated by Greystone sell overseas, and licensed editions of its books appear in more than fifteen countries. The company�s many acclaimed authors include:
