Promises are broken all the time...

In his preamble to an interview with David Suzuki, George Stroumboulopoulos of CBC's The Hour says, "Promises are broken all of the time. Oh, like promises on the environment." And he continues to explain that opposition leader Jack Layton threatened a non-confidence vote. Sadly, George called it. One year later, our Members of Parliament vote in favour of a mandate that is a bold-faced reneging of the Kyoto targets. Check this out.
